Dear Pickleball Friends,

Let's put our community spirit to work and help our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness and sleeping outdoors or in their vehicles.

With the cold, wind and coastal rain, warm, dry clothing can make a tremendous difference.

PICKLEBALL PLAYERS

HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED

During the month of November, LCPB is collecting clean, gently used clothing, particularly:

🧥 Waterproof coats and rain jackets

🧦 Warm, thick socks

🧤 Gloves, scarves and winter hats

👕 Hoodies and sweatshirts

👖 Jeans, trousers and sweatpants

🥾 Waterproof boots and sturdy shoes in good condition

Thermal clothing and warm layers

Men's clothing is especially welcome, but women's items are needed too.

New socks and underwear are also greatly appreciated.

Donations will be distributed locally to help people experiencing homelessness in the Lincoln City area. Any excess donations will be passed on to Blanchet House in Portland to help those in need there.

Let's show that our pickleball family has big hearts both on and off the courts!

It’s easy to donate. An LCPB volunteer has offered to coordinate drop off of items at her Lincoln City home.
